The McKay Firm originated from the 1908 Columbia law firm McKay, McKay, Black, and Walker, founded by Douglas McKay, Sr.  In 1982, the McKay Firm evolved into its current status, and its current managing partner is Douglas McKay's grandson, Julius W.
