Stephen is a partner at The McKay Firm and practices in the areas of workers’ compensation defense, civil litigation, subrogation and workers’ compensation appeals. In 2010 and again in 2011, The McKay Firm was included in Best Law Firms in America® (Copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, S.C.), in the field of workers’ compensation defense litigation. The McKay Firms’ attorneys were also selected by A.M. Best to the 2012 Recommended Insurance Attorneys. Before practicing law, Stephen was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Paul E. Short, Jr, South Carolina Circuit Court Judge.
A Citadel graduate and South Carolina native, Stephen resides in Columbia with his wife Corey, and two children, Caroline and Crayton.
